Job Title: (Senior) System Operations Engineer - (Senior) SysOps Engineer

Location: Remote

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Microsoft Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain Microsoft-based IT infrastructure, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Azure, and Windows 365 Cloud PC environments
• Design, implement, and optimize cloud and hybrid infrastructure components

Endpoint & Device Management

• Design, implement, and maintain device configuration and compliance policies using Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
• Ensure standardized, secure, and compliant endpoint configurations across the organization

Identity, Access & Security Management

• Administer and troubleshoot user access and identity management solutions
• Configure and maintain MFA, Conditional Access, and device trust policies
• Ensure secure and scalable access management aligned with security best practices

Operating Systems & End-User Experience

• Administer and support Windows-based operating systems
• Monitor and improve performance and user experience in Windows 365 and VDI environments

System Monitoring, Maintenance & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor system health and proactively apply patches and updates
• Identify potential risks, inefficiencies, and security vulnerabilities, and propose improvement initiatives

Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Operations

• Oversee VDI operations to ensure optimal performance, availability, and user experience

Policy & Platform Governance (Microsoft & Google Workspace)

• Create, manage, and optimize policy configurations across Microsoft and Google Workspace environments
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices

Documentation & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for configurations, policies, and troubleshooting procedures
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on infrastructure and security-related initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a System Administrator or similar role, with focus on Microsoft cloud services,
• Familiarity with VDI and cloud-based endpoint management,
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration tasks,
• Experience with patch management, remote support, and system health monitoring,
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills,
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment,
• Understanding of cloud security principles, endpoint protection, and identity governance,
• Experience writing and managing Group Policies (GPO) and Intune Configuration Profiles,
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), Intune, Azure, and Windows 365.
